Smuggled drugs destroyed in Benapole

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) destroyed smuggled drugs worth about Tk 90 million at the BGB office in Jessore Saturday.The destroyed drugs include 15,690 bottles of phensidyl, 2400 bottles of foreign liquor, 65.5 litres of stolen liquor, 4.5kg of hemp and 7.5kg of heroine.DDG of BGB Brig Gen Abu Sayad Khan, Commander of 22 BGB Lt Col Hasib Alam and Executive Magistrate Abul Kalam were present at the time of destruction of the drugs. - UNB
