Smuggled goods seized in Joypurhat

JOYPURHAT, Jan 17 (BSS): Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-3, in several anti-smuggling drives, seized a huge quantity of smuggled Indian goods worth about Taka over 24 lakh from different areas of the district last night.
The BGB team also arrested alleged smuggler Asad, 32, inhabitant of Banail village under Shibganj upazila in Bogra district.
The seized goods are: Indian phensidyl, Bear, fruits, species, shares, different types of winter clothes, imitation ornaments and others Indian illegal goods the BGB-3 sources said.
The seized goods handed over to the Hilly Customs Authorities.
