Snakebite kills two in Noagaon

A woman and her nephew died from snakebite at Soraigachhi village in Porsha upazila of Noagaon early Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Habiba, 22, wife of Sabbir Ahmed and her nephew Tanjid, 3, son of Mahfuza Akhter.
Local said Mahfuza along with her son came to visit her sister Habiba’s house in the village several days ago.
A venomous snake bit Habiba and Tanjid around 3am while they were sleeping in the house, leaving them injured.
Tanjid and Habiba died in the house early in the morning.
