Snatching auto-rickshaw killing driver: Woman remanded in N\\\'ganj

A court in Narayanganj has placed a woman on a 2-day remand in connection with the snatching of an auto-rickshaw after killing its driver in Fatullah. Senior Judicial Magistrate Monowara Begum passed the order when police produced Laili Begum, 40, a female Union Parishad member of Daudkandi of Comilla, before the court seeking a five-day remand. Monir Hossen, owner of the auto-rickshaw, filed a case against Laili after police arrested her from her house in Daudkandi based on secret information. Some miscreants killed Ripon and snatched away his CNG-run three-wheeler after dumping his body in the New Dhaka Jatramora in Narayanganj’s Rupganj Upazila on September 22, according to a news agency.
