SOCIAL ISLAMI BANK LAUNCHES SPECIAL PRODUCT FOR FREELANCERS

Social Islami Bank has rolled out a specialised product for freelancers -- 'SIBL Freelancer Solution' -- in order to expedite their activities and inflow of foreign remittance. Zafar Alam, Managing Director and CEO, inaugurated the product as the chief guest at the bank's head office in Dhaka on Sunday. In this special savings account 'SIBL Freelancer Solution', the freelancers will get additional 0.50 per cent profit and can deposit 35 per cent of their earning in Exporter's Retention Quota (ERQ) Account. The beneficiaries can also avail up to 90 per cent as investment of their deposited amount in ERQ Account for purchasing IT equipment. Mohammad Forkanullah, Abdul Hannan Khan and Mohammad Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Directors, and Kamal Hossain, Vice President of FAD, were also present at the event.
