Social movement to manage wastes launched

Baridhara Society Saturday launched social movement to effectively manage the hazardous wastes in the capital.
Society president Firoz M Hasan formally inaugurated the initiative styled 'wastage of kitchen is valued asset' at a city park, a media release said one the day.
News Today Editor Reazuddin Ahmed, Director of the Department of Environment Maodudul Rashid Safdar, Director of a private television channel, 71 Syed Ishtiak Reza, among others, were present on the occasion.
Main object of the movement is to create awareness among the general people about the proper management of wastes that seriously pollutes the environment.
