Social networks vs real life

Facebook is one of the most popular online social networks that has a staggering 1.19 billion active users. The founders of Facebook never imagined that their initiative would take a gigantic leap and become so popular in the world. Now, we don't ask who has Facebook account rather we ask who doesn't have. Facebook has assets worth about USD 15 billion with yearly revenue of USD 53 million.
Facebook is a good way to keep connection with our friends and family. But excessive use of social networking may disconnect people from the real life. When we spent excess time on computer and internet, we may face many problems.
Many youngsters are addicted to Facebook and other social networks. Anything that consumes so much of our valuable time should be avoided. It is high time we remained alert so that we along with our children do not get used to the bad habit of wasting so much time on social networking and internet browsing.
