Social Welfare Minister Mohsin Ali at ICU

Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali, who is suffering from pneumonia, is undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) at a Dhaka hospital. He was rushed to BIRDEM hospital in Shahbagh after he had fallen sick on Thursday morning, his ministry’s PRO Maidul Islam Pradhan said.
“Doctors have shifted him to the ICU,” Pradhan said on Friday. “Although his condition has improved a little, the doctors did not say anything about when he will be discharged,” he added. The 66-year-old diabetic had undergone a bypass surgery in the past, according to bdnews24.com.
