Social worker goes abroad

Md Imran Hasan, a renowned social worker and Secretary General of Kamalapur Pathagar and Samajkalyan Parishad (KPSP), and member of International AIDS Society (Geneva, Switzerland) left Dhaka for Scotland Tuesday, said a press release.
He will participate in the Civicus World Assembly on "Acting together for a just world and people, participation and power" scheduled to be held between June 18 and 20 in Glasgow, Scotland.
During his stay in Scotland, Hasan will visit Youth Link, an NGO of Scotland. He will also visit London to attend a number of seminars.
Earlier, Imran Hasan participated in different international workshops, conferences in India, Singapore and Sydney, Australia on invitation from Youth Challenge Singapore.
Presently, he is president of Voice of America (VOA) Fans Club and Executive Member of National Federation of Youth Organisations in Bangladesh (NFYOB).
