Monday, 11 November 2024

The government has launched the Smart Case Management System software to oversee and streamline the management of government-related cases in the High Court.
At a review meeting held on October 28, chaired by Additional Secretary (Law) of the Cabinet Division, it was revealed that approximately 17,000 revenue-related cases were currently pending in the High Court, reports UNB.
Of these, 6,000 cases have already been recorded in the new system, while data entry for the remaining 11,000 is still in progress.
The Cabinet Division has issued several directives to ensure the smooth implementation of the Smart Case Management System software. Ministries and departments have been instructed to re-verify the actual number of pending cases. Officials must complete the entry of all case information into the software promptly. Relevant organizations must coordinate with the Cabinet Division and software management officers to facilitate accurate data entry. Ministries and departments are encouraged to prioritize the data entry process in critical meetings such as coordination sessions.
The Cabinet Division has requested all relevant bodies to adhere strictly to the outlined guidelines. It has also called for seamless coordination between stakeholders to ensure the software's full functionality and effectiveness.
