Sohel made addl MD of SIBL

Abu Sadek Md Sohel has been promoted to the post of additional managing director of Social Investment Bank Limited (SIBL), said a press release. brPrior to his promotion, Mr Sohel was the deputy managing director of the same bank from September 22, 2005. brHe became DMD of the bank on July 25, 2005 while he was in Agrani Bank. brMr Sohel began his banking career by joining Sonali Bank as senior officer in 1977. He served the bank in various capacities until April 3, 2001. brHe became general manager (GM) on April 4, 2001 and served Bangladesh Krishi Bank for one year and Agrani Bank for three years as GM. brHe attended different overseas trade seminars in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Frankfurt, Shanghai, Paris and Kathmandu.
