Sohrab Hossain passes away

Eminent musician and Nazrul Sangeet exponent Sohrab Hossain passed away at a city hospital Thursday morning. He was 91, reports UNB.
Hospital sources said Sohrab Hossain breathed his last at around 6.00 am.
He had been admitted to the hospital 11 days ago with kidney problem and other health complications.
He was under supervision of kidney specialist Dr Wahab Khan there.
Sohrab Hossain was born on April 9, 1922, in Ayeshtala village near Ranaghat in Nadia district in West Bengal of India.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock at his demise and also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
