Solar energy implementation urged on high rise building

Speakers at a seminar urged for installation of solar energy on high rise building apartments and promote appropriate, efficient and environment friendly use of renewable energy to encounter the existing power crisis.
The discussants held their opinion at a seminar, jointly organised by Centre for Development Research Bangladesh, Abashan magazine and Rahim Afrooz in the city Saturday.
Engineer Asma Huque, managing director, Prokaushali Sangsad Ltd. presented the key note paper.
The paper revealed the benefits and potentials of solar energy in our country where daily average solar radiation varies between 4 to 6.5 kwh per square metre which is perfect for a solar panel.
