Some cops doing excesses: Khaleda
Thursday, 14 May 2015
BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia said on Tuesday a section of the members of the police is doing 'excesses' and warned that dire consequences await them, reports UNB.
"I won't accuse all police members. But, some of them are sucking the feet of the ruling party. I want to tell them stop indulging in misdeeds, unjust and repression. Or else, the consequences won't be good. It may take 5-10 years or 20 years, but you must be punished for your wrong doings," she said.
The BNP chief further said, "You all know the names of some police officials who are doing the excesses. I shouldn't mention their names. I want to ask them: stop doing excesses. Otherwise, its consequences will be very dire and dangerous."
Khaleda came up with the harsh remarks while exchanging views with pro-BNP freedom fighters at her Gulshan office on Tuesday night.
