Some Ctg journos urge voters to vote for 'Boat'

CHATTOGRAM, Dec 25: A section of journalists of Chattogram called upon the voters to elect all candidates with 'Boat' symbol in the upcoming 11th national parliamentary election.
They urged voters to cast their votes in favour of Awami League at a view exchange meeting with three candidates from the city on Monday afternoon.
The meeting was organised by the journalists' forum-- Muktijuddher Adarshe Lalito Chattogramer Sangbadik Samaj at Bangabandhu Hall, Chattogram Press Club with president of the Club Kalim Sarwar in the chair. Suklal Das, general secretary of Chattogram Press Club moderated the meeting.
Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation AJM Nasir Uddin addressed the meeting as chief guest while Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury (Nowfel), Awami League candidate from Chattogram-9, Dr Afsarul Amin, Awami League candidate from Chattogram-10 and MA Latif, Awami League candidate from Chattogram-11 addressed as special guests.
The meeting was also addressed by senior journalists including Abu Sufian, Ali Abbas, Riaz Hyder Chowdhury, Moazzemul Haque, Nazimuddin Shyamol, Mostaque Ahmed, Pankaj Kumar Dastider, Ejaz Yusufi, Jashim Chowdhury Sabuj, Helal Uddin Chowdhury, Swapan Dutta and Rafiqul Bahar.
