Sunday, 15 July 2007

The police Saturday attached some movable property, including two tables, three chairs and two sets of sofa, of Beximco group Chairman Sohel F Rahman following a court order, reports UNB.
Sohel along with his detained younger brother Salman F Rahman has been facing two criminal cases filed with Dhanmondi police station in March this year.
As Sohel did not appear in person before the court to stand trial, the court issued a warrant of arrest against him and ordered the attachment of his movable property.
Following the court order, the police went to the office of Beximco Pharmaceuticals in the city's Dhanmondi area around 12:45pm and found two tables, three chairs and two sets of sofa among other negligible valuables to attach.
