Son of AL leader held with bullets

PABNA: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested the son of a local Awami League leader from Ishwardi upazila headquarters early Friday and recovered 30 bullets from his possession.
The arrested was identified as Ripon, 32, son of Abdul Quader Miah, president of Maligachha union unit of AL under Sadar upazila.
Sources at Rab-12 said a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the upazila headquarters of Ishwardi in the early hours and arrested Ripon, according to a news agency.
