Sonali Bank crushes Rising Group 6-0, Prince hits hattrick

Mohammad Iqbal Nadir Prince struck a hattrick as Sonali Bank SRC crushed Rising Group by 6-0 goals in the Office Hockey League at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey League in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
Prince scored four goals while national forward Russell Mahmud Jimmy and Mosharraf Hossain Kuti shared the other two goals for the winners, which led the first half by 1-0.
Kuti opened the account for Sonali Bank SRC in the 7th minute with a field goal (1-0). After the breather, Jimmy doubled the margin in the 41st minute, also from a field goal (2-0).
Then Prince scored his first and the 3rd for his side in the 50th minute (3-0). He scored the 4th goal in the 53rd minute and completed his hattrick netting the 5th in the 63rd minutes, all from the field goal.
With just five minutes left before the final whistle, Prince notched the 6th goal to achieve an emphatic victory for his side.
In the day's other match, also at the same venue, Araf Apparels beat Bangladesh Navy by 2-1 goals after trailing by 1-0 in the first half.
Krishna Kumar struck twice for the winners while Mohammad Bulbul Islam netted for the Services Team.
Bulbul put Bangladesh Navy ahead in the very 4th minute by converting a penalty corner (1-0).
After the refreshment break, Krishna leveled the margin in the 45th minute scoring a field goal (1-0) while he netted the match winner in the 47th minute (2-1).
