Sonali Bank holds workshop on new clearing system

Sonali Bank Limited (SBL) organised a workshop for its branch managers of Dhaka city recently to introduce them with the new clearing system.
Deputy Managing Director of the bank Kazi Faqurul Islam inaugurated the workshop, while its senior consultant Md Abdus Salam presided over.
Bangladesh Bank will introduce automated clearing system from August 3, 2009. The cheques of banks will be forwarded through online automatic system.
Mr Islam laid importance to implement new clearing system properly and in time.
SBL Dhaka Divisional General Manager Mushtak Ahmed took part in the workshop along with other high officials of the bank.
