Sonali Exchange has opened a new branch in Bronx in the New York City. Bangladesh’s permanent representative to the UN AKA Momen on Friday launched the branch of Sonali Bank’s subsidiary in Bangla Bazar Avenue, a neighbourhood of more than 30,000 Bangladeshis. From this branch, expatriates will be allowed to remit money to Bangladesh free of charge till before Eid-ul-Fitr, Momen said. This is the 10th branch of Sonali Exchange since it started work in the US in 1994, according to bdnews24.com.
