Sonar Bangla or Digital Bangladesh?

The Bangalees of the sub-continent are quite familiar with the expression 'Sonar Bangla'. We are proud as Bangalees. Despite all the vicissitudes of history, the dream of Sonar Bangla has remained alive in our midst. The ingredients of making Sonar Bangla is within our grip. We know how to grow food grain and jute, the golden fibre, catch fish, raise poultry and domestic animals.
Sonar Bangla is mixed with our blood. 'Digital Bangladesh' is a newly adopted slogan. Even the educated people don't understand the meaning of 'digital'. The farmers are not aware of the word nor do they have any digital device or appliances. The concept, though good, will not benefit a large number of people. The slogan of 'Sonar Bangla' will inspire more people than the branding of the country as 'Digital Bangladesh.'
