Sonargaon Textiles AGM approves 10pc cash dividend

The 22nd annual general meeting (AGM) of the Sonargaon Textiles Limited has approved 10 per cent cash dividend for the year that ended on December 31, 2007.
The AGM of the company was held at Barisal recently, said a press release.
Executive Director and Company Secretary of Sonargaon Textiles M Moniruzzaman conducted the meeting.
Among others, Managing Director AKM Azizur Rahman and directors Md Khalilur Rahman Chowdhury and Mohammad Jahangir Alam were present at the AGM. A large number of shareholders attended the meeting.
The meeting was told that sales in volume for the year 2007 stood at Tk 65,02,85,484 which was 4.38 per cent higher than that of the previous year and net profit ratio increased by 8.08 per cent compared to the previous year.
