Sony-Smart provides free healthcare services at Uttara showroom

Smart Technologies (BD) Limited, the official distributor of Sony in Bangladesh, has launched a three-day free healthcare service programme under the theme 'Let Life Be Secure.'
The initiative was inaugurated at the Sony-Smart's Uttara showroom in the city on Saturday, says a press release.
The programme offers free healthcare services to the people from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday and Saturday and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday.
The healthcare services include consultations with a medical specialist from a renowned hospital in the country, along with various diagnostic tests such as diabetes screening, blood pressure measurement, ECG, BMI check-ups, body fat level tests, water level tests, visceral fat level tests, protein level tests, muscle level tests, and basal metabolism tests.
Sarwar Jahan Chowdhury, General Manager (Sales) of Sony-Smart, commented on the initiative 'Sony-Smart is expanding its market presence in Bangladesh through the Genuine Five (G-Five) policy. One of the key components of the G-Five policy is Genuine Care. As part of this Genuine Care, we always prioritise the health and safety of our customers and their families. We have ensured affordable healthcare services through our Health Card at various esteemed institutions. Continuing this, we have organised this exceptional healthcare service programme at our showroom.'

He said that the programme has received a tremendous response- 'Previously, we provided similar services at our showrooms. Due to the significant positive feedback from the local community, we are hosting this program at our Uttara showroom for the second time. In the future, Sony-Smart plans to extend this type of program to every showroom in Dhaka and neighboring districts.'
It is noteworthy that Smart Technologies (BD) Limited is a leading distributor of ICT products in Bangladesh, representing over 100 global brands. On November 26, 2021, the company signed an agreement with Japan's multinational technology manufacturer Sony to distribute Sony's electronics products and related services in Bangladesh, now known as Sony-Smart.
