Soroptimist Int'l Club organises S Asian confce in city today

Soroptimist International Club of Dhaka, Bangladesh has organised a two-day South Asian Conference on 'Women's Rights: South Asian Perspectives' at the Spectra Convention Centre, Gulshan in the city today (Friday).
The conference will be preceded by a South Asian Forum meeting of members of the Soroptimist Clubs of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Dr Marguerite Woodstock-Riley, president of the Federation of Soroptimist International of Great Britain and Ireland, will attend the conference.
Adviser for Education and Commerce Hossain Zillur Rahman will inaugurate the conference at 9:00 am today.
