Sorry state of a road in Chandpur village

CHANDPUR, Sept 30: Villagers of Rupsha Paschim, Ramdasherbagh and Anandabazar have been suffering much for a long time due to the deplorable condition of the two-km kutcha road in Rupsha Uttar Union of Faridganj Upazila in Chandpur district.
People including school, college and madrasa students use the road to go to Faridganj Govt College , Upazila Sadar and Rupsha Bazar. Autorickshaws, rickshaws and vans can't move
smoothly as they are stuck in the mud.

Habiba, Raquib Hossain and a few others said that despite deplorable condition of the road, they have to use it every day. They have to face many difficulties to go to their institution. The situation becomes worst during the rainy days. The elderly, patients and children have to suffer immensely.
Faridganj Upazila Engineer Abrar Ahmed expressed ignorance about the deplorable condition of the road. He said he will visit the road and then try to develop it.
On the other hand, an important 5-km road from Momkhola to Ujani Deokamta Road in Kochua Upazila has also been in deplorable condition for a long time.
