Thursday, 22 May 2025

SEOUL, May 21 (AFP): South Korea's exports fell 2.4 per cent year-on-year in the first 20 days of May, partly due to weak sales to the US, official data showed Wednesday.
South Korea's exports totalled $32 billion from May 1 to 20, down 2.4 per cent from the same period last year, according to data from the Korea Customs Service.
Shipments to the United States fell 14.6 per cent year-on-year during the period, while exports to China and the European Union also declined by 7.2 per cent and 2.7 per cent, respectively.
