Southeast Bank holds Annual Risk Conference

Southeast Bank PLC held its "Annual Risk Conference 2024" via hybrid mode at the bank's Head Office in Dhaka on Wednesday. Nuruddin Md Sadeque Hossain, Managing Director of Southeast Bank, inaugurated the conference. In his speech, Hossain emphasised the importance of this Risk Conference in establishing a robust risk culture throughout the bank. Mahmuda Haque, Joint Director, Department of Off-site Supervision, Bangladesh Bank, was present in conference as a speaker. She stressed the importance of integrating advanced risk management tools while fostering a culture of proactive risk awareness at all levels of the bank. Masum Uddin Khan, and Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Directors, and Khorshed Alam Chowdhury, Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of the bank, were also present.
