Southeast Bank holds workshop on 'Capital Adequacy and Basel-II'

A two-day workshop on "Capital Adequacy and Basel-II Implementation with Particular Reference to Credit Risk" organised by Southeast Bank Limited (SEBL) Training Institute was held at its head office in the city recently.
The workshop was organised for the credit officers responsible for Basel-II Implementation at the branches of the bank, said a press release.
Deputy Managing Director of the bank Syed Imtiaz Hasib inaugurated the workshop while Bangladesh Bank Deputy General Manager KM Abdul Wadood and Deputy Director Dipti Rani Hazra presented the keynote papers in the workshop.
Also present on the occasion were, SEBL Senior Vice President (SVP) and Head of Marketing and Training Mustafizur Rahman, VP and Head of Risk Management Md Asadul Azim, SAVP and Head of Treasury Operations Md Shamsul Islam and principal officers Syed Abu Naser and Md Jahangir Kabir.
