Southeast Bank opens branch at Mohammadpur

Southeast Bank Ltd expanded its network further by opening a new branch at Mohammadpur in the city Monday.
It is the 53rd branch of the bank, according to a press release.
Mr Alamgir Kabir, chairman of the bank, formally inaugurated the new branch as the chief guest.
Ragib Ali, former chairman and incumbent vice chairman of Southeast Bank Ltd, directors Azim Uddin Ahmed, Duluma Ahmed, Rehana Rahman, Abdul Hai and Zaidi Satter, Syed Imtiaz Hasib, deputy managing director, Faruq Ahmad Siddiqi, chief of capital market division, senior executives, businessmen, customers, and local elite were present on the occasion.
Shafiqul Haque Chowdhury, president of ASA, also attended the inaugural function.
In his inaugural speech, Mr Alamgir Kabir evaluated the financial strength of the bank and outlined future programmes to make it stronger.
He urged the local business communities and clients to avail themselves of the banking services from the new branch.
He assured them that they would be given quality customer services through the use of latest banking technology by a set of true professionals of the bank.
The vice chairman and the directors of the bank also spoke at the function.
Syed Imtiaz Hasib addressed the audience while Shahid Hossain, senior executive vice president, gave the address of welcome in the inaugural function.
From the invitees, Shafiqul Haque Chowdhury, president of ASA, spoke on the occasion. He assured his all-out support for the growth of the bank.
Muhammad Hajjaj-Bin-Mahfooz, head of the new branch, offered vote of thanks at the function.
The inaugural programme ended with a special prayer to the Almighty Allah on the branch premises seeking divine blessings for the well-being of the bank and the country.
