Southeast Bank Ltd has expanded its network further by opening its 56th branch at Pragati Sarani in the city.
Alamgir Kabir, chairman of the bank, formally inaugurated the new branch as the chief guest Thursday.
Rehana Rahman and Syed Shahid Ali, directors of the bank, Mahbubul Alam, managing director, M Serajul Islam, executive director, senior executives, businessmen, clients, and local elite were present at the inaugural function.
The chairman elaborated the bank's operational status and its endeavour to reach the top position in banking gradually.
He said the Pragati Sarani branch would conduct its operational activities by applying modern technology and work with honesty and dedication.
He urged the local businessmen, depositors and clients to avail themselves of modern banking services from the new branch.
