Southeast Bank signs participation agreement with BB

Southeast Bank signed an agreement with the Credit Guarantee Department (CGD) of the Bangladesh Bank (BB). This agreement facilitates eligible women's enterprises and agro-processing enterprises under the CMSME sector with insufficient collateral. These enterprises can now avail loans or investments from the bank under the BB refinance scheme with credit guarantee coverage. The ceremony was held in the presence of Nurun Nahar, deputy governor, and Mohammad Jamal Uddin, executive director of BB; while Nahid Rahman, director of the Credit Guarantee Department and Nuruddin Md Sadeque Hossain, managing director of Southeast Bank, signed the deal.
