Southeast Bank workshop on credit administration, documentation

A workshop on 'Credit Administration, Documentation and Recovery Techniques' was held at the head office of Southeast Bank Ltd in the city recently.
Southeast Bank Training Institute organised the workshop for the officials responsible for credit documentation and administration at the branches and head office of the bank.
S K Sur Chowdhury, general manager of Bangladesh Bank, gave a keynote presentation at the workshop.
Mustafizur Rahman, senior vice president and head of marketing and training, Pritish Kumar Sarker, SVP and head of CAD, Md Shahjahan Sarker and Mosharraf Hossain, vice presidents, Md Akhtaruzzaman, senior officer of credit administration department, and Bazlur Rashid Khan, FVP of principal branch of the bank, also made presentations at the workshop.
In the concluding session, Syed Imtiaz Hasib, deputy managing director of Southeast Bank Ltd, put emphasis on proper understanding of risk management principles to mitigate credit risk and ensure constant monitoring of loan portfolios for ensuring the bank's sustained growth process.
