Southtech wins award in Washington

Southtech Limited came second in the global competition for Innovative Technology in the Microfinance Recognition Awards in Washington DC, USA recently.
The event was organized by Hanson Wade of the UK and sponsored by IBM, Symbiotic, IFC, and Gradatim. Overall there were over 100 nominations from around the world for the awards.
Southtech Ascend Banking is a comprehensive state of the art solution for microfinance and retail banks. It has a unique hybrid architecture especially suitable for developing countries allowing for off line, online, centralized and decentralized operations with many features making best use of mobile technology. The solution can be scaled up rapidly for a growing MFI, MFB or retail bank.
