Soyabean futures rise on firm global cues

NEW DELHI (PTI): Soyabean futures improved 0.32 per cent on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Monday as traders enlarged their positions, influenced by a firming global trend.
At 1200 hrs, soyabean contract for June month showed a rise of 0.17 per cent at Rs 2,602.00 per quintal.
July-month contract gained by 0.32 per cent at Rs 2,643.00 per quintal, showing an open interest in 49,190 lots, while far September-month delivery contract moved up by 0.29 per cent at Rs 2,572.00, with an open interest in 2,850 lots.
