Speaker, CJ, Chief Whip pay homage to Bangabandhu

Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique and Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip Nur-E-Alam Chowdhury paid on Monday rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, marking his 47th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day, reports BSS.
On behalf of the Speaker, Parliament Secretariat's sergeant at arms placed a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu on Dhanmondi Road No 32 in the city.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice Hasan Foez Siddique paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, marking the day.
He paid rich tributes to the architect of the country's independence by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu.
Jatiya Sangsad Chief Whip Nur-E-Alam Chowdhury paid tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at Dhanmondi marking the National Mourning Day.
The chief whip also paid tributes to other slain members of Bangabandhu's family by placing wreaths at the Banani graveyard.
