Speaker invited to attend WAW

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has invited Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury to attend the 'World Assembly for Women: Tokyo-2014 (WAW) to be held in September next in Tokyo, reports UNB.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam said this at a press conference at the Foreign Ministry in the city Thursday.
During the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's recent visit to Japan, the Japanese Prime Minister also invited a high-level leading figure of Bangladesh to the three-day event which will begin on September 12.
