Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury has become the first Bangladeshi to be elected the chairperson of Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA). The election took place on Thursday at the 60th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in Cameroon's Yaoundé.
