Speaker to attend PUIC conf in Tehran

The two-day ninth conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) begins in Tehran on Tuesday with the participation of speakers and parliamentarians from 53 member counties. Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will lead the five-member Bangladesh parliamentary delegation to the conference, said a PID handout on Monday. The Speaker will address three working sessions in the conference and meet the Secretary General of Asian Parliamentary Association, according to a news agency.
