Speaker to be accorded reception Oct 22

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will be accorded a reception on October 22 for becoming the first Bangladeshi to be elected as chairperson of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday. "The Speaker will be accorded a reception on October 22 in parliament," she said while delivering her introductory speech at the Awami League Central Working Committee meeting at her official residence Ganobhaban in the evening, according to a news agency.
