Speaker to meet Modi after oath

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury will hold a meeting with Narendra Modi after he takes oath as Prime Minister of India, , reports bdnews24.com.
Dr Sharmin reached New Delhi Sunday morning to represent Bangladesh in the swearing-in ceremony to be held today ( Monday).
India's External Affairs Joint Secretary Sripriya Ranganathan received the Speaker at the Delhi airport Sunday.
Dr Sharmin is also scheduled to meet India's President Pranab Mukherjee.
"She will meet Narendra Modi at 1:00 pm tomorrow (Tuesday)," Parliament Secretariat official Nazmul Huda,who is accompanying the Speaker, told the news agency.
"The Speaker will meet the president next at 5:00 pm."
The Speaker will attend the ceremony instead of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina who is in Japan.
Chaudhury will return on May 28.
