Speakers urge students to acquire IT-based knowledge

Speakers have urged the students to acquire advanced knowledge based on information technology (IT) to face the challenges of home and abroad, reports BSS.
They were addressing the 55th orientation of fall semester freshmen at International University of Business Agriculture and Technology in the city Sunday.
British Professor Eric Frank, Dr Monirul Islam, chairman of Department of Civil Engineering of IUBAT and Dr Shahidullah Miah, coordinator of College of Agricultural Sciences, among others, addressed the programme with Vice-chancellor of the university Prof Dr M Alimullah Miyan in the chair.
