Special offers at pavilions allure CITF visitors

CHITTAGONG, Feb 26: Different companies announced attractive offer for the buyers with a view to boosting the publicity of their products at the stalls and pavilions in the ongoing Chittagong Industrial Trade Fair (CITF).
However, normal sales at most of the pavilions and stalls are yet to get momentum at the month-long CITF venue at Railway Pologround Maidan.
CITF managing committee co-chairman M Shahin Alam Tipu told the FE that with the passage of time and opening of all the stalls and pavilions, the ongoing fair would emerge as a full-fledged as well as an attractive one within a very short time.
Some companies including Unilever, Aktel, CityCell, OTOBI, Abul Khair Group, Haque Group have been able to attract the visitors and buyers as they have already announced different offers, facilities and concession on their items.
Since the very beginning of the fair, reputed furniture manufacturer OTOBI has offered 15 per cent concession against almost all of their products and Maks brand consumer goods of Abul Khair group are being sold at 10 to 15 per cent discount rate. It has also offered lucky coupons and prizes on buying Marks branded goods.
Aktel, CityCell and other mobile companies have offered different attractive promotional offers for the visitors at their stalls.
