Special prayers for cyclone victims

A special prayer and 'munajat' will be offered at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Juma prayers on Friday seeking Divine blessings for the cyclone victims, reports UNB.
Religious Affairs Advisor Dr A S M Matiur Rahman will be present at the special prayer organized by Islamic Foundation, Bangladesh, said a press release.
Islamic Foundation authorities have also requested to hold such special prayers for the cyclone victims in other mosques of the country.
The foundation has so far distributed 500 blankets, 500 shawls, 300 lungis, 300 saris, 30 sacks of warm clothes, shirts, jackets, candle, match boxes, saline packets, etc.
Besides, several medical teams of the foundation are also working in the affected areas, the release added.
