Spectra Group 1st Inter-District Women Kabaddi begins

Tangail DSA crushed Khulna DSA by 66-25 points with five creditable lonas in an opening day match of the Spectra Group First Inter-District Women Kabaddi Competition in the city Friday, reports UNB.
In the day's other matches, Rajshahi DSA overpowered Faridpur DSA 46-7, Jamalpur DSA devastated Manikganj DSA 47-12, Dhaka DSA blanked Gaibandha DSA 50-20, Narayanganj DSA romped Munshiganj DSA 44-15, Tangail DSA beat Narail DSA 36-9 while Munshiganj DSA defeated Rangamati DSA 26-15.
Earlier, Begum Ismat Noor inaugurated the three-day competition as chief guest. Presided over by Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation President Noor Mohammad, the function was attended, among others, by Spectra Group chairman Engineer Khan Mohammad Aftab Uddin.
