Spirit of liberation war curled up with killing of Bangabandhu: Anisul

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq on Wednesday said the spirit of liberation war was curled up with the killings of Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and most of his family members on August 15, 1975.
"Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and most of his family members were brutally murdered on the night of August 15, 1975. The future of Bangladesh was tried to change through this conspiracy of killing and the spirit of liberation war was curled up with the assassination," he said.
He made the remarks addressing a discussion organized by Bangladesh Muslim Nikah Registrar Samity at the auditorium of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) in the city as the chief guest on the occasion of the 47th martyrdom anniversary of Father of Nation.
