FE Report
Singapore Airlines will operate to and from Dhaka seven times weekly from March 28 next year, up from the current five times a week, according to a press release.
Earlier, from May 18 this year Singapore Airlines cut its weekly frequency from seven to five due mainly to declining demand arising out of the global economic downturn.
With demand showing signs of picking up, the company decided to reinstate earlier schedule.
"We see positive signs of recovery in demand and we are optimistic that demand will increase further in the coming months'', said Malcolm Leong, general manager Bangladesh, Singapore Airlines.
