S'pore co to develop tourism park in Cox's Bazar

Singapore-based Inter-Asia Group Pte Ltd will develop the Sabrang Tourism Park in Cox's Bazar, reports UNB.
The Inter-Asia Group signed a land lease agreement (LLA) with Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) in this regard on Thursday, said a press release.
The BEZA also organised "Inauguration of 11 New Online Services in OSS Centre at the function.
Inter-Asia Group director Rick Haque Sikder and additional secretary, and executive member (investment promotion), of BEZAMd Abdul Mannan signed the LLA on behalf of their respective sides.
Dr Ahmad Kaikaus, principal secretary to the Prime Minister attended the event as the chief guest while Sirajul Islam, executive director of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), Md Muksodur Rahman Patwari, secretary, ministry of land Ziaul Hasan, secretary ministry of environment and Rubana Haque, president of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) were special guests at the function.
An 83-acre beachfront land at the Sabrang Tourism Park will be developed by Inter-Asia Group Pte Ltd by forming a consortium with a world renowned Filipino business conglomerate along with support from internationally reputed hospitality service industries to build a world-class tourism facility.
The development of tourism facilities at Sabrang Tourism Park will be patterned as a tropical seaside complex, having a golf course, hotels, retails, a variety of public space.
