Sports journo Badrul Huda Chy dies

Veteran journalist and sports commentator Badrul Huda Chowdhury died at his Chittagong residence at 7 am on Sunday. He was 84. Huda, who had been suffering from old-age complications for long, left behind his wife, three sons and three daughters and a host of relatives to mourn his death. He was born in 1930 at Mirsharai in Chittagong. Huda started his career as sub-editor of the daily Azad in 1954, according to a news agency.
