Spurious juice seized in Jamalpur

A mobile court in a drive seized huge quantity of spurious mango juice and fined its manufacturer in Dewanganj Upazila of Jamalpur district on Thursday. According to Jamalpur Rapid Action Battalion-14 sources, a mobile court, headed by Executive Magistrate Mohammad Saiful Islam, raided a house at College Road in Dewanganj town and seized the spurious mango juice. Factory owner Md Lablu Miah was fined Tk 20,000 by the Magistrate for manufacturing and marketing the spurious juice. The team destroyed the seized spurious juice. Lablu, 23, is the son of Abdul Aziz of Sharifpara village, according to a news agency.
