SQ Chy sued in Magura, Thakurgaon for treason, bad comments

Opposition BNP lawmaker Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury was Tuesday sued on treason and defamation charges in Magura and Thakurgaon districts Tuesday for his alleged subversive comments, reports UNB.
In both the cases he was charged with 'anti-state role' during the country's liberation war in 1971 and his 'derogatory remarks' about the assassination of independence leader Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and most of his family members on August 15, 1975.
